About the Corvette Z 06

This is the extreme-performance Corvette.  The Z06 is named after a special option package that original Corvette chief engineer Zora Arkus-Duntov created for his ’63 Corvette StingRay road racing customers. 

The Z06 reveals the Corvette’s raw, no-nonsense character that has been somewhat masked by the splendid refinement found in the C6 coupe and convertible. 

The Z06 peels back those creature comforts, exposing the highly passionate soul of a great sports car.  Packed with technology gleaned from the Bad Boy Vettes (www.badboyvettes.com) Corvette racing program, the Z06 more than just a Corvette with a big engine stuffed under the hood, the Z06's entire chassis has been re-tooled to provide an ultra-light, ultra-strong frame capable of dealing with the 7.0-liter LS7 V8 engine's awesome output.
